Bloomberg Adviser Tim O'Brien Promises "Scorched Earth" Retaliation Against All The Trump Children If They Pursue Hunter Biden

Bloomberg Adviser Tim O'Brien Hints At "Scorched Earth" Retaliation Against All The Trump Children If GOP Pursues Hunter Biden

Appearing on MSNBC's "AM Joy," Bloomberg campaign adviser Tim O'Brien hinted that Mike Bloomberg may use his campaign cash on behalf of Joe Biden to take aim at President Trump's family's business dealings if Trump continues his allegations that Hunter Biden inappropriately made money in Ukraine while his father was vice president.

He said Jared Kushner, Ivanka, Don Jr., and Eric Trump would face scrutiny "unlike anything they’ve experienced thus far in the media."

JOY ANN REID, MSNBC: You mentioned Ivanka. Here's Ivanka on her Chinese trademarks. The idea, supposedly according to them, the former vice president is vice president and therefore his son gets pulled onto the board, somehow that's corruption. Here's Ivanka, the same day Trump and his daughter dined with Chinese President Xi Jinping at Mar a Lago onin April 2017. She was awarded three trademarks for jewelry, handbags and spa services. Here's a tweet by her brother, some derided him as the failson, I'll call him Don Jr., retweeting a Daily Caller article about Hunter Biden. "It's almost like the whole Biden family is entirely dependent on Joe holding public office?"

TIM O’BRIEN, BLOOMBERG CAMPAIGN: Yeah, the Trump family are epic grifters, this goes back generations. Fred Trump made his money by intersecting with the federal and state governments in New York. Donald came up through New York, intersecting with local government and in Atlantic City. Now they're in the White House and all of them are dipping their faces into the till.

If the Republicans really want to make an issue out of Hunter Biden, which is very low-hanging fruit that I don’t think most Democratic voters care about anyway, there is going to be a scorched earth response aimed at all of the Trump children that is unlike anything they’ve experienced thus far in the media.

JOY ANN REID: Could it be from your former candidate, Mike Bloomberg has a lot of money to spend.

O’BRIEN: I think it’s an important moment for the American people to be woke about how rampant the financial conflicts of interest are among Trump’s children and the president himself. They’re an absolute failure to distance themselves from the Trump organization and all the deals they’ve continued to pursue while in the White House, whether it’s the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.; 666 Fifth Avenue, which has a long and ugly history with Jared and the Chinese government; and Jared and the Russian government; and Jared and his family’s struggling finances at the time – all of this stuff will become, I think, food for thought for everyone.

for those complaining about americans not being politically attuned or voting on policy, this type of shyt is why. media rather make a real housewives type showdown about politician's kids as opposed to focusing on policy and impact
I agree.

Trump hijacked and changed everything. I think its only right that he gets his own medicine.

Trump didn’t change anything with regards to American caring about policy. This is how Americans have viewed elections since voting expanded beyond rich white men. (Meaning, most people don’t get involved with policy if they can’t immediately feel the impact)

Americans have no idea about policy unless it’s culture war shyt.

Trump is the first time make personal attacks and be rewarded.

Bloomberg gives $2 million to boost black voter registration efforts
Less than a week after leaving the presidential race, former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg gave an additional $2 million to register 500,000 black voters before the November election.

The donation announced Monday, which follows $15 million voter registration commitment he made last year, will go to Collective Future, a nonprofit arm of the Collective, a political action committee that supports black candidates nationwide.

The money will be spent to hire more than 30 field organizers and 96 “field fellows” through local community organizations in eight states, including the presidential swing states of Florida, Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina, said Collective President Quentin James. The program will also register voters in South Carolina, Texas, Georgia and Alabama.

“Some people may still have issues around his record as mayor or whatever the issue is, but for us this is bigger than some of the personal opinions,” James said Monday. “This is about power in our community. And unfortunately we have been stripped of that.”

Bloomberg previously announced a $5 million contribution to a voter protection initiative run by former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D). He is also setting up a new independent political organization to absorb his campaign staff in six swing states, so they can support Democrats in the general election. That group will probably serve as a vehicle for advertising to support Democrats this year.

“Voter suppression efforts across the country have been a barely disguised effort to keep Black Americans and other Democratic-leaning voters from the polls,” Bloomberg said in statement Monday. “I‘ve always believed we need to make it easier for all citizens to register and vote, not harder.”

James said the Bloomberg money would be focused on building partnerships with local organizations, like historically black colleges and black churches, to get more people to register. He praised Bloomberg for not taking any time off after announcing the end of his campaign Wednesday.

“I think what’s amazing is he hasn’t taken a beat,” James said. “He could have taken a week, he could have taken a couple of weeks off.”

That, along with target ads where Trump is shytting on their favorite politicians.

Heck, just flood every pol's constituency with attacks between that pol and Trump. Hopefully the voters will side with one of the other, either way it's a W.
