My wife got the Switch 2 and I never see her playing it. It's sitting on the ottoman as we speak
Again everyone was buying a PS5 for multiple reasons, substantial upgrades from the PS4(remember most of these 30fps games?) with next gen features, BC that automatically improved everything(faster load times, stable frames, free patches for 60fps) and we already know it's the MAIN system that has potential for big games in the future. The first reveal event and showcase before the system even came out already had Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, God of War Ragnarok, FFXVI, Horizon FW, GT7, Ratchet and Clank, Miles Morales, Pragmata, and Forspoken announced.
What has Nintendo announced that's on that level so far?

How am I downplaying exclusives when I'm saying they legit have strong exclusives especially for a less than ONE year old console.
You all are the ones saying "it's not the right exclusives"... Im saying that the cut in hardware probably has more to do with the economy and the industry and not because of a lack of Nintendo games.

The elephant in the room is that the switch hardware and software are way overpriced and these little casual spin-off games and old or lesser than 3rd party ports aren’t gonna cut it

Pretty dumb thing to say when that's millions of not billions of people.
Not everyone is trying to play hyper realistic l, gory violent or even story rich games.
And on the flip side their are tons of folks who spent hundreds or a thousands on Roblox and Minecraft computer rigs... Strictly to play those games.
Get out of here.Or how about... you can walk and chew gum? Everything isn't just black and white. There's nuance, something you guys love to pretend you don't understand. It's not ONE thing that is the cause in cutting hardware. I said it's more likely a multitude of reasons including games but you're trying to pretend that a Mario Kart game(one that's said to not even be the best one yet) and a DK game is enough to sustain the console especially when nothing else majorly has been announced meanwhile the Switch 1 already had several hits with more announced in the pipeline by this time.
I can't continue this convo in seriousness if you're going to pretend that Mario Odyssey, Zelda BOTW, MK8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2 and then a new Smash Bros game is somehow the same as what's going on now. Y'all acting like we said MK and DK is ass. I'm just saying the state of the economy isn't having that same effect on PS5 for some reason. Hell you see more people buying PS5 Pros right now.

The switch 2 still doesn’t have a BOTW or odyssey or anything of the equivalent on the horizon
