The person that service isn't a bad deal for is the person that skips buying games upfront and waits for all of them to come to the service before playing. If you're actually buying the games you want then you own most of the titles you're interested in long before they hit that service. It's filled with games you passed over and could likely get on sale at rock bottom prices before they hit that service. You're just paying extra on top of having to buy games you actually want for access to games you didn't think were worth having.
