I saw this on my timeline and while I think the young man's heart is in the right place, this could have caused some problems. With that being said I can't stand pocket watching or people trying to dictate how people use their money. At least he's thinking about those in need

my personal opinion is if you can help and want to then help. i just feel you shouldn't make a spectacle out of it

Heart in the right place, but the head isn't. It could have been more evenly distributed and in a more orderly fashion. I've done a lot of volunteering with the homeless and just treating them like a human being goes a long way since most people treat them as a waste of life. Hand them the money, make some eye contact, show some sincerity, you can really change a life that way.
What if said man is disabled and can't fish for himself?
Seems like it was all for clout. He would've likely done that anywhere, not just skid row.

Throwing a few dollars at a man who lives on skid row ain’t gone do shyt but for a couple of days. People out there are beyond tossing money at them. I would say, psychologically, it hurts them more when people just do that, even if it does help for the moment.
