Like a couple of people already pointed out in this thread. There really are some brehz that enjoy being locked up. Free living, no responsibilities, free meals majority of the people they're locked up with are people (friends) they grew up with or haven't seen in years, for them it's really no different than being on the block again.

Sad spectrum of this situation is nyggaz think that this gives them "stripes" and sadly there are women that are attracted to men that live that type of (institutionalized) lifestyle.

My issue with you is that you came @ me calling me something that really has nothing to do with how I feel about Blueface.

If you don't agree with the gang lifestyle, then cool. I don't agree with it either, but growing up in CA, I know that if you are Black or Hispanic and come from a middle class to lower middle class or an impoverished area, then you will definitely be around gangs in some capacity whether you like it or not!

So, for me, I try not to be too judgmental about dudes like Blueface. I just strive to understand certain aspects of their culture and what I have recently learned listening to a gang member serving life on a podcast that dudes like Blueface is addicted to the gang/street lifestyle.

Like any other addiction. Either he gonna decide to leave the lifestyle altogether or succumb to the lifestyle. His choice! *shrugs*

Respectfully, I felt no need to specify. I just didn't comment on Blueface's mentality initially. I said that I somewhat understood why he felt how he felt about being in jail based on his quoted statement.

I learned to accept ppl as they are whether I like them, know them or not. His choices in life have nothing to do with me.

Do I think that he is mature and has the right mindset given that he has touched more money and had more oppurrtunities to be famous and successful than most ppl will in their lives?? No!

Do I agree with quoted statement? No!

But, I understand why he has been getting himself in trouble with the law and having his romantic business put out there..

IMO, he isn't ready to evolve as a man yet. It may take him to lose everything before he wisen up. If the latter happens, then that is on him!

There are ppl out there who take the street/gang lifestyle seriously! There are many ppl who are personally affected by it, grew up in it that spans over 5 decades! It is what it is!
