he won at least 9 games every season he was there. what do they expect to walk through that door? dude was 67-27. this isnt the 70s, no one wants to play in lincoln nebraska in 2014. hard to believe anyone is doing better than 67-27 in 7 years in lincoln
Thats bullshyt tho absolut because there are recruits moving to mississippi, corvalis and eugene (bumblefukk) oregon, lubbock tx, lansing mi, etc

These country 5 star dudes should fit in more in lincoln than they should la or austin for example

Are they really a worse place or prgram than tcu or miss st or ksu?

when they were a "great" program just over 10 years ago they fired frank solich for going 58-19. fired pelini for going 67-27 now. what are they expecting? kansas st is about to go 9-3 is they lose to baylor. same record bo was told to take a hike with
They know they shouldn't be measured against a Kansas State. Their bar is higher. They are a bigger name and a better brand.

My point is that kids go to Kansas and kids to go Oklahoma. I don't see how Lincoln is any worse. Pelini's not a good coach. Bill Snyder at Lincoln would have them in the top 10 consistently.

67-27 is great. He has a .712 win percentage. Hell, Bo Pellini has more wins in his first seven seasons than Tom Osborne had in his first seven. Besides Nick Saban he's the only other active FBS coach to record nine or more wins the past six seasons. I think Nebraska made a decision that they're going to seriously regret in the future. He's definitely going to be able to get a job somewhere else though. Nebraska needs to realize that it's not the same powerhouse that it used to be, players aren't dying to go to to Lincoln. Their weak conference certainly isn't helping either.

no conference title and getting blown out consistently in big games.

The next coach isn't going to be that much better in terms of wins and losses, but Nebraska should not expect to compete in the Big Ten once in while?

hes not a good coach, yet only nick saban has won 9 games in each of the last 7 seasons along with him? if going 67-27 over 7 years is unacceptable, your expectations are unrealistic at nebraska
winning 9 games is not a big accomplishment. It just means you're above average. Good for them if they want to be champions.

more likely to be iowa when 58-19, and 67-27 get you tossed curbside as a coach. bret beilema was 68-25 over 7 years at wisky. a couple rose bowl losses really only difference

Why would a coach now want to go to Nebraska? 9 & 10 win seasons will still get you fired and Michigan and Florida both have coach openings this year.

Pellini isnt garbage but nebraska had to ask themselves (even reigonally / in conference) if they want to be wisconsin or if they want to be IOWA.
I used to think he was pretty good, but i caught a few games this year and think he's not. I saw his special teams not knowing what to do with a blocked FG and other dumb shyt going on pretty consistently.

Well of course nebraska isnt as good a job as those but its probably the next unless miami opens up.

But what are we talking about here? Michigan florida miami are 3 or about the top ten jobs in the game...NE is top 15 though

which asiatic man wants to spend 4 years of his life in Lincoln, Nebraska?

winning 9 games is the best they can do in 2014
they play all over the south and midwest, so I cant see why they wouldnt play in Nebraska.
