You can say GSP is more popular, yet the money he made doesn't back that up and outside of the UFC nobody knows who the fukk he is. Boxers are known around the world, hence why they get paid so much more than guys in the UFC.

What do UFC fighters getting screwed in their purses have anything to do with their popularity? Boxers don't get more because they're more popular. They get more because promotion teams are much more powerful. The WBO/IBF/WBA/WBC don't own the fighters unlike the UFC. Nah, Spider has definitely made a couple million in his career, it's just that it took a shyt load of fights for him to do it. If he were a boxer he'd probably be close to $100 million in career earnings vs the $5-8 million he made with UFC.

I don't even dislike the UFC, but people coming with that nonsense that Boxers aren't more popular are just Nobody in the UFC is more popular than Canelo, Wlad or Carl Froch. You can't draw the line at Manny and Floyd when these dudes are making millions and selling out arenas as the draw.

i didnt say they would but i am hopeful.
and Im sure boxing purses were disgusting when pro boxing first started. UFC has been around since '91 i think, so Im gonna give it more time. MMA could really grow if they had a union or if dana had an accident
