I'm not saying boxers beat mma guys in the street or vice versa my whole point is that wrestling attacks(single/double/high crotch) are done from a distance that's dangerous to be in with a boxer and to get in position to do these attacks stances are used that boxers are familiar with because of the similarities in footwork between boxing and wresting, so they would know certain attacks that would be successful. Bruh, learning how to avoid takedowns is a lot easier than becoming proficient with your hands. McGregor is LIGHT YEARS ahead of other MMA guys when it comes to boxing and using his hands, everyone always said if a boxer could learn takedown defense they'd be tough to handle and lo & behold that is true -

Because he is a great boxer with good grappling skills what don't u get? If any of the top boxers also had brown belts they would all be champions in mma. But a boxer without grappling skills has a weakness that will be exposed everytime. Just like a grappler with 0 boxing skills gets exposed by strikers all the time who ALSO have grappling skills.

MMA fighters have both grappling and striking skills and boxers ONLY have striking skills. Hence my argument.
