RIP. A legend. Damn, he's one of those ones I thought would live even longer. Wasn't he just at trump rallies not to long ago?

RIP coach Knight

As a 90s kid from the Midwest he's the GOAT Xs and Os college coach to me. Great pressure defense teams that shared the ball and played smart.

:yeshrug: He was to me. Not impressed by him at all. He always put a competitive team out there. The winning was spread out. It ain't like he was stacking titles up. The game changed and he didn't
He won three titles in 12 years. :wtf:

His problem wasn’t coaching but he was really Nick Nolte in Blue Chips and had no interest in working with shoe companies to get players. Man was still a brilliant coach and basketball mind. He was also a sociopath.

How many yrs did he coach though?? You'll never change my mind no matter what. I hated him as a kid in the 80s and I still hate him today. I dislike ppl who think treating ppl like shyt is endearing :yeshrug:

You can hate him as a person, that’s fine. Again, he was a sociopath. I didn’t like him myself.

But you can’t deny he was a brilliant coach. Calling him overrated is a crazy statement.

Dean Smith coached as long as Knight and only won two titles.

:comeon: he's one of 6 coaches with at least 3 titles and has the last undefeated team. Only Wooden, Rupp, and K have more chips. FOH.
