Local acts get on local radio come on if Amina Butterfly can go up there they can spend 15 minutes on a local act

I think their fast climb comes from living in the microwave times. Everyones wants the next thing fast and they wanna be the ones to say they were on it first or at least give off the illusion there connected to whats relevant at the time.

Is he even ASAP Ferg level???

Ehhh I mean it boggles my mind that the industry is really giving him this much exposure just from an internet meme... but you know what? I am gonna let him cook, if he can put out some good music to capitalize on this i aint even mad at the kid... that being said he better act quick, cause for real for real there will be another popular black meme within the next 2 weeks... this is why as an artist you need to have a STABLE of quality music... cause when that lightning strikes you dont have time to put your heart into it and grind, you got to have already grinded...

maybe i am just giving him an extra chance cause dude is from east flatbush and thats where i lived in my highschool years... by the way its not really hood like that, then again the whole NYC has changed and i aint been back in years, maybe its wild now... back in the day it was the kinda area you moved to when you werent banked up but you wanted to get out the hood hood.

My nikka when did I shyt on the kid?

I think he's wack and referenced him to another wack artist because they are similar in a way that's all

& so what if I feel he didn't come up organically? He came up off of a vine clip? Cool

Ok, you think he's wack. Cool

Logical response. Look if the kid goes on to make good music more power to him.

Sound sound sound
its always crazy seeing the difference between veterans vs. new artists getting interviewed....the new nikkas always have to be carried by the interviewers, while the vets usually just have more of an open conversation..

What's crazy is that we have industry created plants in hip hop that are taking off. We even have some white artists in hip hop that make trash music, but whites support and stand behind them and they blow up.

But when "one of our own" is on the come up. Some nikkaz can't wait to cut that nikka down :snoop: shyt is backwards

I don't know why y'all keep saying he's repping NYC :troll:

Obviously your song “Hot N***a” has blown up, but people want to get to know more about you. So, first off, where are you from? Brooklyn. East Flatbush. 95th and Clarkson. Born and raised. But my family from down South, so I was always like the kid that was back and forth. My daddy locked up down South. Basically, if he wasn’t locked up I would have been a Florida kid. When my daddy got locked up, my moms moved up here. But my grandparents still there, my uncles still down there, so I be flying back and forth. I’m kind of a mixture [of North and South].
