Great point and exactly what I've been trying to say to a lot of these grown ass men and women out here. These adults need to STOP looking for validation, approval, feedback and etc from other people for everything. Like yo... folks literally doing shyt because they see other people doing the same shyt. Not because they themselves like it or have to do it but peer pressure, the need to be accepted, belong and this unhealthy low self esteem low or no confidence type of mentality. Like how does somebody follow shyt blindly without thinking about how they feel about it or forcing themselves to like or dislike something based off of what the people around them are responding to something. That's crazy.
Theres gonna be times when someone is gonna be alone whether it's an opinion on something that may be different from someone elses or a road trip. If you cant manage to hold yourself down in certain situations where you are alone, then you NEED to work on that. Thats survival. You gonna have to be who you are and stand on it whether other people like it or not. That's how you see and find out who's who at the end of the day. No one makes it alone though. You just need the right people around you.
Thats why I dont care when people clown me. Theres been times I've been insulted, ridiculed, clowned, dissed and etc for doing "the right thing" by "cool people". I'm not interested in being cool or fitting in especially when what many things people consider cool is getting people killed.
I do feel it is an age thing but also generational. A lot of young folks are mentally fragile. You have folks really living their lives for other people who arent even thinking about them. Plus they not being honest with themselves and the people around them not being honest then you get another cycle of disaster.
Does he really need to go back to the booth to be a rapper? I dont think he has another hit in him. Regardless, him and some of these younger guys need to stop acting like they can't get a trade or whatever instead of the same limited options.
