I mean....I get it. We're locked up at disproportionate rates, treated unfairly in the judicial system, living in environments/circumstances that easily lead to crime, etc.


I'm the last to promote degeneracy, but I can't knock people for celebrating when a loved one or popular person is released from prison. Are they supposed to be upset that individuals are granted their freedom back? All I can hope for is that they do their best to avoid going back and learn from their mistakes.

I get it too but this isn't one of these case, Bobby Shmurda's actions indirectly led to Black people losing their lives. Nothing wrong with his family being happty and don't get me wrong I'm glad he's out but I'd rather just a dap, a good luck and keep it moving. I volunteer in youth houses and prisons, there's def a lot of people who don't belong in there but he wasn't. I just hope he stays on the straight and narrow and pays it forward.
