The main reason he’s getting so much love is because he showed a very rare amount of loyalty to his homie by taking more time so that his friend got less. If i’m not mistaken he could have snitched on his crew and gotten out in like a year or so but he took the road of honor amongst thieves.
I’m not saying he’s a hero or anything but it does take a certain amount of character and a willingness to “pay what you owe” to do what he did.
