Figured it would be getting more tred. Maybe it's really a suicide.

I mean obviously the KKK is historically a violent & racist organization and you have to take them seriously, but if you look at their current ideology, how they operate is very different than the violent racism that defines them. You gotta remember that the KKK used to be mainstream, now they've been reduced to small, fringe groups. But we'll see, this just doesn't sound like what the KKK is doing in 2016

I was there the last few weeks mainly going on the trail around the mountain where nobody goes, but I did go to the top a few times and I never see anything crazy. I might just stick to the outside trail since nobody goes there to avoid any crazyness.

The KKK is the highest ranking fraternal order in the United States and the only one with a militaristic legacy. You'll see women in robes and regalia sometimes but they're only show pieces btw. They don't want to confirm it was a lynching though. Apparently if they report it as a suicide the media can't touch it. Suicide is an easy cover. And really let that hope out your heart, who goes to a park to hang themselves from a tree? I have never heard of a suicide by hanging happening that way, and yes, stranger things have happened, but a fukking tree? So he climbed the tree, tied the rope around a branch and his neck, gave some "Goodbye cruel world!" shout and jumped out of the tree? That's what you're really hoping happened instead of the obvious that someone hung him from that tree? Ain't no hope man.

After a spate of police killings of black men this week, a possible hate crime has surfaced in Atlanta.

Early Thursday morning, a black man was found hanging from a tree in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. While police said the man’s death looked to be consistent with suicide, no official autopsy has been conducted. Social media is claiming that the young man’s death came on the heels of Ku Klux Klan members passing out recruitment flyers in the park just the day before, a claim that has not yet been verified, and expressed skepticism at the implication of a suicide without a full investigation.
