We used to hunt our meat like any other animal. How'd did all that tainted meat not affect us all those years before domesticated animals was a thing? Cavemen were not dropping everything with headshots on some halo shyt. sound like psuedo science to me
We're considerably healthier and live longer lives than cavemen did

Not really. The only real argument is that some might move away from things that kill them, but that's more of a preservation instinct than proof they feel pain.

It's kinda impossible to prove or disprove, so I get the argument, but just based on our understanding of how their bodies work, it's pretty much consensus that they don't feel pain

:dahell: so these nikkas gonna scope you out while you make dinner to make sure the seafood is Dead?!?!:what:Da fukk???
Nah, probably gonna make so the stores have to kill them prior to sale. Meaning instead of a fresh lobster tank, you'll getting that shyt from the freezer section with the head already removed like they do with shrimp.

If a serial killer murdered your mother. Would you be any more likely to forgive him if he did it peacefully versus violently? I personally would be just as angry regardless of the cause of death. Murder is murder, the only humane way to die is of natural causes. but nobody is trying to eat an elderly lobster.
We're talking about being boiled alive versus having your head crushed with a mallet. both seem like some shyt out of a saw movie.

You interjected this threshold of forgiveness that’s truly irrelevant to the concept of humane killing. Here’s a question that better gets at the concept of humane killing: if you woke up tied up in the basement of a serial killer, would you rather they give you a quick death that minimizes the pain you feel before checking out, or would you rather go through some shyt out of a Saw movie? :usure:

How they gonna police this if they sell it to us while they are alive? Most likely they would kill them in the store before letting you leave with them.

Um, no, the law just requires you to kill them before putting them in boiling water. It does not ban the sale of live lobsters. There’s plenty of laws that one can break inside one’s home where there’s no police oversight.

I heard it's unhealthy because they got bacteria that will grow if dead.

People forget it's easy to get food poisoning from seafood.
the whole murdering something 'humanely" as a concept is low key comical anyway.
For real. :russ:
