Um, no, the law just requires you to kill them before putting them in boiling water. It does not ban the sale of live lobsters. There’s plenty of laws that one can break inside one’s home where there’s no police oversight.
If that's true, then this whole debate is pointless. the rule is unenforceable.

You interjected this threshold of forgiveness that’s truly irrelevant to the concept of humane killing. Here’s a question that better gets at the concept of humane killing: if you woke up tied up in the basement of a serial killer, would you rather they give you a quick death that minimizes the pain you feel before checking out, or would you rather go through some shyt out of a Saw movie? :usure:
Both would be equally undesirable to me. Would rate my day a 0/10 regardless of either outcome.

I don't think I would ever cook my own crab or lobster. Never did it and don't think about it.

Only time I eat crustaceans is when I go to a restaraunt and its already cooked.

I don't see boiling crab/lobster being illegal in the States anytime soon, but perhaps it is possible??

We used to hunt our meat like any other animal. How'd did all that tainted meat not affect us all those years before domesticated animals was a thing? Cavemen were not dropping everything with headshots on some halo shyt. sound like psuedo science to me

C’mon breh, I’m not asking how you’d rate your day, I’m asking which you would choose. You honestly not going to take the quicker least painful option? Do you honestly believe you wouldn’t change your mind after the torture started (assuming you either declined to choose or initially chose to go that route)? :usure:

They are both still awful breh. My choice will always be neither. saying something is more humane is more about how the killer feels than the victim. If it helps you sleep at night, do you. just know i'll be a ghost haunting you like :pacspit: for killing me either way.

Bullshyt. You would much rather be killed in an instant than having your limbs removed one by one. That's just common sense.
I would rather avoid either option. and so would you. I'm not gonna feel better about being murdered just because it was less painful. and i'm not going to give props to my murderer for being "nice" about it :what:
