This sounds exactly like the rhetoric white coaches and GM's used to deny black QB's opportunities:mjpls:

too emotional
lacks discipline
can't learn a playbook
can't read defenses
one read then scramble

Based on socio-economics in America who's more likely to come from single parent homes? How many white college or NFL QB's grew up in single parent households or in poverty? You ever see them go through what Deshaun Watson did as a child?

There's no defending what Prime said. It was ignorant and played on racist, stereotypical tropes.

No it is not. You did all of that because your feelings got hurt.

You and other people are catching feelings because you are projecting your low expectations and feelings on inferiority on ALL Black folks.
Prime mentioned qualities. These qualities are not natural, they have to be learned and developed. That has nothing to do with race.

"too emotional
lacks discipline
can't learn a playbook
can't read defenses
one read then scramble"

All of these things have nothing to do with race! In that Prime interview that I posted, right before the timestamp Prime was praising Jalen Hurts. A black QB. Plenty of Black QB's in the past have demonstrated these traits from Doug Williams to guys like Hurts.

"Based on socio-economics in America who's more likely to come from single parent homes? "
Yes Black folks are more likely to come from single parent households but NO the cause is not socio-economic factors. These women are choosing to be single mothers. The economic background did not make them single mothers.

If Deion said that surrounded by black folks, then I would‘ve took it as a joke.

but when you say shyt like that to white folks, you look like a c00n, point blank period.:francis:

First off, he said "dual parents", not "married parents". His son qualifies as that, cause he has both of his parents actively in his life. Dragging the divorce into the convo was low brow. Bomani reaching and looking for viral moments.
He’s a clout chasing fakkit that grew up around nothing but cacs in Cypress/Katy

No he is not going to pick a QB just because they are rich and smart. Of course the kid will have to have athletic ability, but also the mental part and intangible qualities as well.,

These qualities Deion described can be applied in other areas of life. This is bigger than just sports. And yes jobs and other organizations do JUDGE and evaluate people based on certain qualities and characteristics.

Good God nikkas are dumb. Yall love this baby mama broken home no to low expectation culture. Anything proven to work and give our kids a better chance we want to fight against it. I don't understand you nikkas.

Nah dont backtrack,we arent talking about certain qualities. Would you be fine with jobs evaluating people based on whether or not they come from single parent homes? And evaluating people based on "studies" and "statistics" of their choosing?

The point you fools are missing is there is something called a resume:mjlol:

In football there is something called game tape.
And there is also something called references:mjlol:

Yall act like Deion is trying to create a QB in 2K. You got people in here actually saying a qb from a two parent home is more likely to be able to audiable and read defenses better. And acting as if thats a better way to make a determination than watching game tape, and asking coaches about his attitude:gucci:

Thecoli has jumped the shark, posters literally are okay with discrimination. Because "many stereotypes have some truth to them:mjpls:". This is literally what discrimination is. Ignoring ones resume and qualifications, and taking into account other factors based on their own biases, from their own personal experience.

It's their business. They can chose to hire who THEY want based on whatever criteria THEY decide. Why does that bother you?
If you start your own business you can chose to hire only orphans if you want to.

Of course he will review game tape as well. At this point you want something to be offended about. Standards really bother you nikkas.

Deion just saying the quiet part out loud. Statistics reinforce everything Deion says, but I get why folks are mad.
I already know black twitter’s reaction:

hE aInT lYiN tHo
:snoop:

I said that about Ed Reed. It’s like no matter what the topic, black folk are now are incapable of discernment, nuance, understanding the concept of time and place. No matter how dumb something somebody says it’s always ‘I mean but low key…I mean if you think about it…. he ain’t lyin :yeshrug:‘‘

Given the platform and his stature I don’t think it’s too much to ask that he keep that shyt to himself

This is such an awful comparison. What racist tropes Deion explicitly mentioned that is comparable to what black QBs were going through in the past?

Prime isn’t turning down a can’t miss blue chip prospect. I don’t give a damn if he was raised by a single mom or a stray dog. However, I get what he is trying to say and a lot of people in their feelings about it. Hurts, Murray, Mahomes, Jackson(to some degree), Wilson, Geno, all have or had their father in their life. Prime should’ve kept it to himself, but it’s easier to become a leader if you seen your father lead, and that’s what he wants from his QB apparently.
