His usage rate is 34.1 on Basketball-reference, 32 on ESPN big difference :stopitslime:

Yes he is.

You remember when I told you Kanter was horrible defensively and you didn't want to believe me :mjpls: Boogie is Al Jefferson with the greenest of green lights :yeshrug:
I was always knew how trash he was on defense, you were complaining about his postups when i said he was a good post player.

Boogie rates elite on defense in every metric.

6th overall in DRPM(behind Bogut, Allen, Green, Kawhi, and Nurkic). 3rd ranked center in DRPM.

No, you were trying to imply that Kanter wasn't straight ass on defense, that's all I've ever said about him, he's good on offense but horrific on defense.

DRPM? :scust: He's not "elite" by every metric his defensive rating is worse than Andre Drummond (Davis is better there too), someone that I don't think is elite and can waver from :ld: to :scust: on defense. Elite is Bogut, Gobert, Duncan shyt even Nerlens is elite, because their teams defense gets better the second they step on the floor and worse when they step off.

An elite defensive big will always be on a solid defensive team, the garbage ass Sixers are 11th defensively in the league off the strength of Nerlens.

I knew he was ass bruh. Having strong defenders at multiple positions helps mask some of his horrible defense.

Defensive Real Plus Minus. = DRPM

Those are elite numbers. Drummond is not that good of a rim protector, in fact the team's defense is worse with him ON the floor than OFF.

Drummond on/off Drtg:
On: 107 DRTG
Off: 105.5 DRTG

Duncan on/off DRTG:
On: 102.2
Off: 102.5

Davis on/off DRTG:
On: 105
Off: 109

Cousins on/off DRTG:
On: 105.8
Off: 113

He has the biggest difference out these 4 players.

Davis "anchors" the 22nd best defense in the league.
Drummond anchors the 20th.

Cousins has the worst team out of all of them too. For almost half the season the Kings' starting 5 was the best defense in the league, then Cousins stopped caring when Malone got fired.

I know what DRPM means, It's just not something I use because I feel it's dumb :yeshrug: There are far too many outliers associated with the stat, guys who aren't good defensively that somehow end up on the list.

DeMarcus "anchors" the 27th best defense in the league, and he doesn't have a worse team than Nerlens does he? I've told you the guys who I feel are elite defensively, I never said Drummond was an elite guy, I said his individual defensive rating was better than Boogies (it is) and his defense can go from :ld: to :scust: We saw what the Jazz looked like on defense without Gobert, 27th in the league :yeshrug:

Half a season bruh? Mike Malone got fired on December 15, Boogies "great" team defense lasted for 15 games and it was right back to same ole shyt.

You think Cousins is a better defender than Anthony Davis?
I'm not a dude who beats his meat to flashy blocks(same reason why people think KJ McDaniels is good, even though he isn't).

It's arguable. Cousins ranks higher in most metrics.

I feel you, but RPM isn't that bad of a stat, it's usually accurate.

I know they are the 27th best defense, i was pointed out that isn't a complete representation of a player's defensive prowess. KG "anchored" a bottom 10 defense in 07 too(he obviously wasn't a trash defender), the moment he got good teammates in 08 he had a historically dominant defensive season.

Drummond has a 100 DRTG, and Boogie has 101 DRTG it isn't that big of a difference man. Their on/off DRTG tell the true story though, where it paints Drummond as a negative defender.

My bad, when he came back from being sick the defense dropped off. Same thing with his offense, he stopped caring when the Kings fukked over his season with Malone's firing. I want to blame him for being bytch about it, but i honestly can't.

Trust me man, i'm critical of Boogie too. If the Kings weren't such a dumb organization, we would be talking about Boogie being the next great big man ever.

davis' defense isnt even close to just being about flashy blocks

and, in fact, most of his blocks arent even "flashy"..he tries to keep the ball in play for his team to gain a possession rather than always trying to just throw it into the stands for personal glory
