They do them. All entertainers do for the right price. Ive seen Jay and B in the club after their concert when they had the joint album. Promoter paid out the ass. Average clubs/ promoters cant afford their charges though so you may only see them in clubs in certain major cities or during superbowl or nba allstar weekends.

Jay and Beyonce never did any club paid appearance, they way bigger than that

As far as I know, the celebs that get paid for appearances/walkthroughs aren't limited to music artists. What if you pay Floyd Mayweather for a walkthrough?
