I loved The Fountainhead by the same author but I read that back in HSI just picked up Atlas Shrugged the other day. I'm a Science Fiction/Futurist geek. Anything about future societies, societal oppression, etc. is literary gold for me. Probably why Brave New World, The Giver, and all of H.G. Wells' works are among my favorite pieces of literature.
lol I grab books from the library with my younger brother but that's about itAm I the only one who uses the public library to get e books and and e audio books?

Why do so many bum nikkas keep reading these art of war, 48 laws of power books?![]()
I don't understand why you guys are so focused on my "one book a day" comment. I simply said that was my goal, some days I reach it others I'm just far too busy to have the free time. Thanks for your concerns, and I've noticed a dramatic increase in my quality of life when most of my free time is spent reading.
But that's besides the point, just leave a book recommendation and keep it moving please. No reason to hang unto a simple quote. It's ridiculous what you guys are choosing to nitpick at.
Thanks for the recommendations from those who took the time, I've added a few of your suggestions unto my list, I'm happy I created this thread.
P.s the quote "books have power" is so damn accurate. One book I've been searching for in particular cannot be read online, the physical copy has to be acquired. The price tag on this book is another thing that caught my eye, that book is one that I must have! I'll be buying it once finances permit me to![]()
What's in there about us breh?
You should read cognitive psychology, teaches you how the brain operates, than clinical psychology, teaches you about why people are the way they are, and child psychology.
Child psychology is most important because it teaches you about the mind of children and attachment. You would start to see that people really are still children mentally and have not grown yet.
