This legit shocked everyone. We were expecting him to be an offensive force this year but it felt like he regressed. But dude came out as a monster on defense. I guess them PEDs he got suspended for last season are still in his system.

My prospect comp for him was boogie cousin with less defense, so his career has gone the exact opposite way I thought it would. But I like it. I’ve always liked players that could make a big impact on games without having to have the ball in their hands.

It’s why Mikal Bridges is one of my favorite players in the league too.

He was one of the reasons I had Phx being a top 3 seed. He's basically a high level 3&D guy. I don't know how these dudes claim to watch ball and didn't see how good Ayton/Bridges/Johnson were last year. I felt like it was a lock these dudes were winning 45 games before they got Chris Paul.

I also thought Bridges + Cam Johnson would be major damage on the wing. But Monty tried it early on after he benched Crowder because it wasn't working. Put Crowder back in the starting lineup and they took off.

I didn’t realize cam had his minutes reduces that much. Was it defense that caused him to lose mins like that?
