Had some time on Vacation to finally finish sum shyt.
The Wizard of Earthsea, by Ursula K Le Guin
Not your typical coming of age story for a hero...but more of a self-exploration of all of the things that are born out of the arrogance of some. I can definitely feel the taoist and almost meditative like inspiration. I can also see why the ending might piss some off too. I'm looking forward to opening the Earthsea world up tho.
Troy: The Siege of Troy Retold, by Stephen Fry
Technically, this was the 3rd book in his 'myths retelling' series, but I didn't feel like fukking with Mythos or Age of Heroes just yet. This was pure fukkery wrapped in an ancient world bow lol. I haven't seen this much fukkery and backstabbing since the last Tyler Perry movie

. I like this retelling giving it a more down to earth vibe.
No Exit, by Taylor Adams
Listened to this joint on the way byke home. This was more so just to pass the time on the road. About 60 or so pages too long. I dig the claustrophobic feel + life or death decisions that are game like almost, but it was too much monologuing "build up, explode, only to reset" ish happening. Still a decent read tho.
