Y'all are crazy. I never said it was good. Just that it'll probably influence people more than cole. Also for better or worse. You make it seem like I complimented hitler. :yeshrug:

That's because you're a stupidass cracker(or wannabe) who's a beneficiary of white supremacy and not a victim. The terms cac or cracker do not represent whites being oppressed or subjected to an institution of anti-white racism at the hands of non whites. That's the reason for the double standard dumbass. That double standard is actually perpetuated by you whites by the way. The reason that whites created that double standard is because it appeases white guilt and makes it easier to control/oppress the non white population. Let's not pretend that you crackers don't still use those terms anyway, you use them all of the time amongst yourselves.

not me dikkhead :upsetfavre:
go grab a big ol fist full of sand and pound that shyt in your already sore vagina.
:smh: at you insinuating when "colored" people aren't around whites just freely say those slurs or even THINK them.
thanks for putting all whites in a box. stereotyping is cool i guess huh, breh ? :comeon:
i think slavery was just as fukked up as anyone else, i sure can't do anything about what happened back in those days :yeshrug: shyt is sad as fukk...
but yeah-this is an endless argument. there's blacks out there who hate whites, there's whites who hate blacks, etc...blah blah.
you seem to be on the side that is ok w/continuing the cycle.

:pacspit:

and i don't care if you're purple, pink or fukking green. your stance is wack as fukk, breh.

you're a fukking idiot who doesn't know anything about radio and you're most certainly lying about your "mans" :krs:

all radio stations are told to play what they play because each individual song holds to a certain rating that attracts listeners, hence why you hear the same shyt at least once an hour. each song is gauged upon play to determine exactly how many people are tuning in, leaving, and joining during playback. if you think these labels are going out of pocket to purchase plays, you're a funny dude. labels do pay for promotion, but certainly not in that level. it might take some swaying to get your brand new unheard artist's first single played, but we're talking about artists that are pushing hundreds of thousands out the gate son.

most radio stations (more like all radio stations, especially those through clear channel and other large subsidiaries) are paid through advertisements, and because of that numbers are the largest factor in everything that gets even a second of airtime these days. they would never, and i mean never think about sacrificing listeners to play some shyt so a label can toss them some dollars.

off yourself son.

I didn't insinuate shyt, I clearly said that whites let their hair down in a racist sense when ther amongst themselves or behind the perceived anonymity of the internet. That's a fact that I won't even argue with you about. The comment section to any news story regarding black and other non white person/people proves that alone. The point is that racism is about much more than name calling. You say that slavery was fukked up but you can't do anything about what happened in those days, but what are you doing to fight the institutional racism that continues to oppress blacks in the present day? What are you doing about the prison industrial complex or the racist judicial system? Not a gotdamn thing but you don't give a fukk about real systematic racism. I'll take it even further and bet that if you had the power to end institutional white supremacy with the snap of your fingers, you wouldn't do it on the strength of losing the privileges that it affords you.

I'm no politician breh :rudy:
I wish things were different.
What are you doing to change any of that ?
You out there picketing ? Got any petitions going ?
Ease up-yeah people grow a fat pair behind the screen of a computer.
They don't all do that, it also goes 2 ways breh.
So feeling the need to call every white a cracker is no better imo :manny:
Capice ? :shake:

When I say little I mean in comparisons to the type of promotional campaign an artist of Kanye's caliber usually has. Again look at the type of promotion he had for MBDTF as compared to Yeezus. Controlled leaks, interviews, performances, videos, radio singles, etc. The building projections were cool, but for an artist like Kanye that's usually just the tip of the iceberg promotion wise. Look at Hov, the man partnered with one of the most powerful technological companies of our era and had them purchase ONE MILLION COPIES of his album for distribution on one of the most popular and best selling smartphones of the year. He's got that youtube commercial playing 24/7 before damn near EVERY video you search for, and with all that he's still projected to do his usual 400-450k first week. I'm sure a phone company would LOVE to have had that type of business partnership with Kanye....

Hell look at Nas last year, he did more promotion for LIG than ANY album he's released within the last decade. three singles, three videos, the VH1 Behind The Music special, The Youtube unveiling of the cover art, all BEFORE the album dropped. Kanye didn't do ANY of that and pushed 300k. I find that personally, to be extremely good with the way overall sales have been declining.
It's a tricky business.
Cause Kanye did all types of promotion for MBDTF but still did half of what Graduation and LR did.
People probably know Kanye is dropping, but he's not done enough to make sure that these people would be genuinely excited for the album.

Sometimes people have singles but still don't sell more. Coles last album had no singles until after the album dropped and he still did nice first week. All you need is a genuine buzz to hit hard on the first weeks, other people like Rihanna, Macklemore etc build their buzz with singles over months. I don't think Cole's "power trip" did very much to his first week, besides letting non-fans (who listen to radio, i.e. probably not his target market) know that he was coming out. Which I would say is the biggest difference with Kanye, his non-target but yet people who cop what's popular, might be good etc did not know nor care about him releasing.

"Yeezus" isn't going Platinum. But it's at 400k after 2 weeks. If Ye wants to save face he should release "Bound 2", it will get play on RnB/Hip Hop stations. He can even do a damn video with Kim if he wants. But I don't see any other song really ganging traction on radio. So Ye will tap out at about 600-700k. Now Cole can make a Platinum push cause he had some singles on the album he can put out. The fact is "Yeezus" isn't "LOVED" in the rap community. Sure it got good reviews from critics but the Hip Hop Nation is mixed on it.

Yeezus sales did a major wall slide during week 2.
4th worst of all time.

Kanye needs to get that old sound back. We were waiting for another "Jesus walks" and maybe a "stronger."

This constipated yelling while banging his spoon on a can of tuna MUST END. >:-T It is not techno. It is not anything!

Magna Carta dropped when? Oh, am I late? >_>
