Rihanna's on the same level as Nicki Minaj except Rihanna has bigger singles. They both have huge singles and both are discussed more for their personal lives and antics outside of the music than the songs they put out. On the other hand, Beyonce is one of the biggest stars in the world.

Rihanna's hasn't had a starring role just yet, if I'm not mistaken. Her endorsements are not bigger than Beyonce's $50 mill deal with Pepsi. Since when did Sexiest woman alive 2012 automatically mean someone was a bigger celebrity or star? Again, she's Minaj in comparison to Beyonce.

"4" was a step in the right direction, no doubt but "Run the world" was the typical song. And now she's back again with another typical song. I did like "Love on Top" and "Party". But "4" is also her least selling album which is why I see she's probably going to go back to these style of songs. Beyonce to me is a brand. But how many Classic albums does she have? She's on her 5th album? Whitney? 4 straight Classics, Mariah? 4 Straight Classics, Janet? 4 Straight Classics, Sade? 4 Straight Classics (5 if you including Lover's rock). I mean I'll give beyonce "Dangerously" but that's probably it.

I agree with everything except the Super Bowl. She did give a good performance even if a lot of those songs don't hold up. I just can't believe at this point in her career she feels the need to do a song called "Bow down B!tches". Really? again what grade are we in?. Also Lip Singing the Inauguration was wack. This is the 1st Black President in his historic 2nd term. This is historic, we are talking once in a lifetime. If your a$$ can't sing it live then cancel cause I can't give her a pass for that.

No matter how you try to spin it, Rihanna is not a bigger star than Beyonce. I'm not a fan of either artist like that. I own no album from either of them. I think Beyonce's easily the better singer, but other than that, they are kind of interchangeable musically. Both have benefitted from the production of The Dream & Tricky Stewart and StarGate (the teams behind some of both artists' biggest records). That being said, I'm not so disconnected that I don't recognize that Beyonce is bigger than Rihanna. Beyonce just dropped this snippet combined with another random record and it's news. It's not even a single and it's not even clear if it's on the album, but it's getting treated like she just released a single.

Nothing to back it up? You're the one trying to argue that musical success is irrelevant when comparing singers and that Beyonce's still the bigger star because uhh...she's Beyonce.

The song's getting attention because its out of character and pathetic for someone that's supposed to be on the level of Beyonce. But then Jay's always been on that try-hard "look how great I am" false bravado so
