If it is simply fines then it's not going to do anything, they need to start suspending players for games - it is the only way that it will stop the problem.
Flop should be $250K. That will kill all that noise real quick. I say 2 flops, kicked out of game. 3 flops, 1 game suspension, after that, get suspended 1 game for each subsequent flop. Game will get cleaned up overnight.

This is beyond stupid actually, and its funny watching so called fans support this. Who will be in charge of these reviews and who will determine the standard of what is and what isn't a flop? Players often "flop" when they are legitimately being fouled, how will that be handled? What about all the verbal flopping? What, are they going to fine every player that yells in an attempt to draw a call as he drives the lane? If not then it won't be fair or consistent.
The answer isn't to fine/punish players, the answer is to tighten up on the refs and hold them more accountable. Obviously being a ref isn't "easy", but that is no excuse. Differentiating flops from legit fouls is the refs job. Refs are lazy and players just take advantage. Blame the refs not the players.
