90% of cars do not appreciate in value with time, it's a standard practice of folks with real money... lease them, and just re-up every year.

the reason you see imaginary baller cats pushing these 07 745's is cause their value falls off at an insane rate.

The real money is in leasing all those fly whips, then renting them out to folks at 5-10k a day.... a lot of these dudes with mean ass car collections do it just cause it's easy money.

Also where is the shame in leasing? My immediate supervisor is a Vette enthusiast and could give two sh)ts about owning one. He leases them, beats em to death and them gives em the car back for the latest model.

Bow wow has, even in the last couple of years, gotten "movie money" which is more than artists get and the bulk of it isn't stretched over as long of a period of time (minus merchandizing, etc.) How could he have spent all that money that quickly?
