yeah the Space Jams started the hype to smoking, the Concords started the fire blazing. There's always been a fair amount of hype on retros and cats who made events of saturday morning releases etc but with twitter and these sneakerblogs its a WHOLE other level of ridiculousness. Like you have to plot to the nanosecond now if you're an online head.

I used to be able to walk into Champs weeks or even months sometimes after releases and cop.

I got the Aqua 8's from a mom and pop spot in early 2009 and they had dust on them literally from sitting so long. Those came out in 07

shyt in 2008 I got quite a few countdown Packs for sale price or retail and not one of them on their release day. Casually strolling thru the mall and bought. The 20/3 pack went on sale in quite a few sizes at one point because they sat around.

there are a couple retro that sat over a week here in Houston. Those Squadron Blues, Fire Red V's. Other than that they fly off the shelf. I bet those 8's going to sell out and then look on CL people going to try and get 250 - 300. Not knowing people don't want those damn shoes

damn, that's crazy, just shows how different regions eat up certain things. Those fire Reds FLEW outta the stores here
