the ether
Bron might fukk around and end up staying:patrice:

If the Cavs are smart with the IT and Nets pick assets and trade either TT or Love, I think that's a real possibility.

As presently situated though, it's a terrible idea. Outside of Lebron they don't have a single player for whom you can say, "I want that guy to be my #2 or #3 against the Warriors." Love or JR or Rose would make barely acceptable #4 guys if healthy and playing at their best, but JR/Rose are suspect to play at that level in 2019 and beyond and you only want Love in that role if your #2 and #3 are really holding up the defensive end of things.

that was all @Regular_P :mjpls:

but now he can't wait to ship Ingram out when he was the biggest cheerleader. He's gonna turn on Lonzo too if he doesn't average atleast 11/9
:umad:

I still don't think Simmons is gonna be that good.

If Kuzma's already better at everything than Ingram, why keep both? They're redundant.

Ingram's problem like most of his teammates is simple basketball IQ.

He doesn't know when to drive against slower forwards. Doesn't know when to shoot over smaller guards and forwards.

But I give rookies unless they're special until year three to make an impression. Ingram still has time but Lakers aren't the team for him.

My worry about the Lakers offense that I posted about last year is that players don't develop the one on one game. I'm hoping this year they work in more isos so that Ingram can develop that aggressiveness and take advantage of his skillset. Ingram seems too coachable and like he's just fitting in being one of the guys instead of playing like a star.

This whole age thing makes 0 sense

All the scouts "omg he so young he has so much potential"

I swear that's the excuse for them to keep their jobs for 4 years. They can just fall back on he's a rookie, or it's only his second year

Look if you can play you can play. Kyrie, Steph, Bron, Melo, Wade, KD, Lillard

All these nikkas came in and were ready to play because they actually could PLAY.

THIS GUY IS GOING TO BE A BUST.....I CALLED IT FROM THE JUMP

Yep....Devin Booker out there having 30 point quarters/70 point games at 20.

Young players struggle with consistency, but if you got "it", you gone flash "it" from time to time.

This could be "draft rigging" karma.....I'd blame the NBA powers that be.

#2 pick three years in a row--- defies all odds....Just ain't natural:sas2:

Yea I remember the age argument always being used on Marvin Williams when he was with the Haeks. Sometimes if you don't have it you don't have it. Devin Booker is young too he's a premier scorer.

Lebron better realize there just ain't enough solid talent on this team.

Go to Philly Lebron. :blessed:
it does look like unless they bring in a glut of current star power (the opposite of what magic wants to do), that franchise wont be ready to compete for a championship any time soon. Lonzo is a godly facilitator and thats about where the buck stops. Outside of Brandon, the rest of the young pieces there dont get close to moving the needles

:russ: Keep dreaming Simmons is special
Simmons ceiling is twice as high as Lonzo's imo. Already a better defender, likely will be a better rebounder (by just being taller). Ill highball it and say Lonzo is a slightly better facilitator, but relatively Ben being around as good a passer at the 3/4 is crazy. Being an athletic 7 footer at 3 could be more of an offensive mismatch than being 6'5 at the 1 with how tall PGs are these days (and how alot of elite 1s dont defend their own position).

Lonzo is not a better facilitator. Simmons creates offense for other players ala Lebron Rondo, and John Wall. Lonzo takes what the defense gives him and finds the open guy the way Jason Kidd did. Nothing wrong with the way he facilitates but I take the player who makes his teammates better.
