Dodgers probably feeling the urgency to win, this is probably the end of their super powerful mega team. A lot of free agents this off season (Kershaw, Max Schrezer, Taylor, Jansen, Belligner, Seager), a couple of their core players getting older (Justin Turner, AJ Pollock), and their minor league system isn't all that great right now.

They'll still be a very good team, but them 100+ win seasons probably over. That with the fact some people don't take last year's WS seriously (I do, but I know some don't because of the shortened season), they are gonna really need to try to win this year. Nothing is guaranteed.

Its hard to maintain when the Ray's have an extremely low payroll and are winning 95+ games yearly.

Even the Braves financially cheaper team has made it to four straight playoffs winning the NL East.

You saw the Yankees stop going fully Yankees in the 90s. Is this the last year the Dodgers stop going full Hollywood
