Apparantly if prepared well, you get a tingling sensation or numbness of the mouth from minute doses of venom in it..In Japan you go to college to get a specialized 4 year degree on how to prepare pufferfish.

Reminds me of going to the pet shop as a kid and seeing the venomous Lion Fish for sale in one of the tanks. It wasn't being sold to be eaten but to be kept as a pet, RIP.
