wait wat. Peak season is dec-feb. its the southern hemisphere. our summer is their winter, our winter is their summer. its peak now because of the WC otherwise it would be dead season. Brazil never gets cold, but it rains like hell in the winter.

but yea, going to an event like this, you gotta go with a pack of wolves and already have strategy (make sure yall arent stepping on each others toes). Going solo steez will be very very hard in such events. plus you'll look a bit out of place. The first thing I would do, is befriend a group asap and float with them for awhile. group float. I travel alone a lot and thats pretty much what I do. I'm an extrovert, I know for some its easier said than done.
no i'm saying peak season for american travel...

most people are going to go on vacation in summer when the kids aren't in school, or spring break.

then you have college kids who can't travel during school at all

then you have most party people.. who are going to try and travel when major events/holidays come to do that

if all you want to do is meet bytches and party.. find out when the LEAST amount of travel is going on in america, and nothing special is going on to bring in EXTRA tourists and hookers (cause both will keep the real locals at home).... and book your trip for then

their winter is still hot as hell but it'll be less americans and less people in general to compete with if you go down in fall or winter

I kinda touched on this in the OP....if you going just to get laid don't go during a special event. I wanted to go to World Cup just to experience it because people kept hyping it up. But you would really suggest going during their winter vs summer? Seems like it would be overall more people our during the summer since it rains a lot less.

I don't want to make it seem like its impossible to eat in Brazil. You def can, and I did. The girls I was successful with didn't speak a word of english and my portuguese is bad. It was just a different type of game you have to play vs. in the US where you can really just get laid off ur looks and mouth peice. This could of just been World Cup at play though because as I said, it was a sausage fest.

I am also talking mainly about Salvador since I spent most of my time there. It def felt like the girls in Rio are more liberal but bad planning didn't give me good logistics to take advantage of the city.
i was just fukking with you man... i'm sure the world cup was worth the experience alone.. you're talking to a man who's gone everywhere and never once bought a souvenir or saw a landmark.... i'll regret it when i'm older.. but i plan trips around getting my maximum partying in and just having fun... cause when i'm home i don't club or go out cause i work so damn much

but yea.. it's gonna be brazil all year round.. and since you are going for the brazilian women (not exactly but you feel me).... the locals ain't going nowhere.. so rain, snow, sleet, hellfire rain.... they gonna be there.. the difference is, how many americans, euros and other people are gonna be there, getting in your way, crowding the place up, and taking all the women by flashing money

dont blame him at all man, we have all been sold a lie. Hell the moment i can get work from home full time at work im packing my bags and just living by the beach in some country where i can get internet.

the average monthly wage in many countries is like what we make in a day, yet their lives are more fulfilling.

When i returned from my vacouver trip i was literally disgusted to vomiting in a toilet the redundant job and life I have in toronto. I went away for a week, the air was better, the people were nice as hell, the smiles, the women :noah:,, I even did what @dc007 did set up my tinder months ago and had a chick picking me up at the airport.

Its sad that brehs especially black men don't realize whats out there, your here fighting over single mothers, obese women, women with attitudes, ugly ass plain janes, when all you need is a passport and just save for a little while and you'll be around exotic women treating you like a frigging king

Good thread. About the women in Brazil being more conservative, its hit or miss sometimes. U can go on a drought for a couple weeks not catching anything then all of a sudden u bag a fine chick in the club and be back on that high. Thats why I tell cats u need a couple weeks if u going there, cause u just might not get anything if u don't TRICK. A lot of brothas who brag about the women there are spending mad money, I've seen in Rio and Sao Paulo with my own eyes. In America, the women definitely are more liberal obviously due to feminism, not living with their families, having more money, etc. But u definitely can eat in Brazil especially when u learn PORTUGUESE.

Welcome brother. :blessed:
You just returned yesterday and you feel like this? The urge will grow stronger the longer you're away. :blessed:
You're in the club now. :blessed:

I do however disagree that Brazilian women are more conservative, I chalk that up as that experience being Salvador which is more 'traditional' Rio girls are sluttier than women in Vegas and Miami because its a vacation spot, and people from all over go to hook up. Basically, it matters on your city and communication. Sao Paulo was even easier, it was like NYC where, people spoke english (since its an intl city) and just being a foreigner gave them interest. I could see places like Salvador, Santos, Curibita being more difficult tho, they're smaller cities and people are more conservative and religious.

Everything else you wrote however, was spot on. I'm not too concerned with it being a sausagefest, I got friends there and they're some of the best brazilian wing men you can find, but if you're solo it can be a bit tough since groups of wolves can pick off you and cock block real easy, its just easier to go with locals who speak the language, know how to talk to brazilian women, and are winging for you with all your interests in mind.

Thats not really a fact and really depends cause the easiest ass a player might get is a Brazilian chick who never met a gringo before in some off the beaten path town. A lot of people in Sao Paulo and Rio have met gringos all their lives that u aren't that interesting to them, especially the broads who are in the clubs turning down gringos every weekend. I need to hit up a smaller town, I've heard dudes having success in lesser known places.

Im speaking in terms of an black american, in which no, SP and Rio folks haven't met them all their lives, because most of their expression when english came out of my mouth was :gladbron: So I disagree.

Big towns all over the world have more liberal people than conservative, that is a fact. There is no comparing the sex lives of those in LA to Mason, Ohio, sorry.

As I return from Brazil from my World Cup trip I am seriously reevaluating my life and the toxic culture the USA provides. Traveling and experiencing different cultures is the best way to remove the ignorance from yourself. When I say travel, I do not mean going to a country and staying on an all inclusive resort.....totally engrossing yourself with people who grew up with a different perspective from you is such a different experience. With that being said, we don't need this to become like the last World Cup thread with people talking about how bad Brazil is. If you don't like traveling outside of the Western World, you should avoid threads like this.

So let me start this by saying I really did not plan to go to Brazil during this time. I really had no interest in soccer and only went because a friend of mine canceled on me for Brazil carnival. I had people i knew that were in the different cities I was in (Salvador and Rio) but basically went alone.

Women: Before I went to Brazil I heard all the rumors about the women down there being loose and loving sex. I didn't quite believe it because in my experience the people who say stuff like this are usually paying for sex. But I was not prepared for the way the women of Brazil are. It could be because my game wasn't good enough...but I found the women more conservative than the woman here in the US. I need to give a +rep to @Malta at some point because his suggestions to get on Brazil cupid (why the fukk are so many fine Brazilians on there) and tinder before touching down in the country became my bread and butter. But in general I found, at least for me, that you need to meet them and make them feel comfortable with you before you can eat....which could take up to 2 meetings (you need to not be socially awkward and know how to interact with females). The woman are a lot more approachable than in the US though...no matter how attractive.

Cities: I only went to 2 cities (Salvador and Rio), I think Salvador is a good city.....has more of an South American feel and is probably a better place to settle down than Rio....but Rio was where it was at. It just had more stuff to do, better parties, and was just overall more livelier than Salvador. It might not even be worth going to Salvador if you don't know Portuguese, it felt like almost nobody there speaks English (I speak some Portuguese) Maybe somebody else who has been to Brazil can give a better comparison to the cities.

People: Anybody who travels to non Western countries can tell you that the people are a lot warmer than here in the US. Brazil is no exception.....they make you feel like you are at home and are a lot more caring. You actually realize how rude you are when interacting with other cultures.

Going during a special event: I will say that World Cup was a slight sausage fest. If you are only going for women, it might be best to avoid a World Cup/Olympics type event unless you are good at meeting women. As i mentioned before I didn't like soccer, but being at this event was just unreal. The overall energy from people all over the world supporting their countries, the game watch parties on the beach, the chants...I just can't describe how amazing it was to witness. If I knew it was going to be as great as it turned out to be, I would of budgeted to stay for the entire world cup. The atmosphere was just that special.

So as I mentioned above, I am evaluating my life seriously. There has to be more to life than this work work work and only out for self culture that I grew up in here in the US. What is really the point in living around people who only tolerate u living here, working until you are almost 70, getting very little vacation time, dealing with the trash of women this country has to offer...its just seeming very blah to me right now. I did just return yesterday so it could just be my initial off of vacation depression....but right now I feel like I am just wasting my years living in a subpar country (quality of life wise....employment wise the US has been good to me)

Well enough of my rant....Who else has anything to say about World Cup, or Brazil in general? I would like to hear other people opinions. I am seriously considering returning in a few months.

sub for later
