I wish MJ would've made it a single, and I wish there was a video shot for it..as well as for other songs like Heaven Can Wait, Unbreakable, Whatever Happens, etc... album had heaters on there.

Sony pulled support and marketing from the album once MJ informed them he wouldn’t reup with them contractually. He was also in a behind the scenes war with Sony over ownership of his Masters and was lowkey paranoid that they were trying to take his ownership of the ATV Catalog (i.e. The Beatles Publishing)

Its crazy how amazing this song is nearly 20 years later. I always felt like Invincible was an underrated album, but this song was always my favorite. Everything about this song is perfection. The production and MJ’s voice... he sang the shyt out this song.. those harmonies are in place too, as always.

MJ is a King and has a lot of classics but as a long time fan, I can appreciate the deep cuts too. This song is really special.

The whole album is underrated. I think the fact that it was mistreated by Sony is what helped create the perception that it was or weak. It's definitely not. You hear the way it starts? "Unbreakable" is a banger and if Michael had his way, it would have been the lead single.

Also, nobody mentioned it, but "Privacy" is fantastic. It's paranoid/aggressive MJ and when he was in that mode, he always made classic songs.

I remember Pharell or somebody else mentioned MJ wanted Neptunes beats that sounded less like updated Off The Wall stuff and more like Superthug. And at first I'd scoff at that on some but honestly I could perfectly hear aggressive growling MJ on a track like that
