they need to have an old school wednesday or throwback thursday where they interview unsung entertainers of yesteryear.

that would be grand.

:what:Too mainstream friendly, when they consistently interview reality tv stars

\
like who?

most urban reality stars arent mainstream.

by mainstream, im talking middle america.

Magic and Jalen Rose was there
maury povich was there

youre missing the point.

the difference between those names and michael jordan is that they all play a role in urban culture.

michael jordan would be so out-of-place in that studio, its not even funny. when you get to the point where you start having guests like that, thats when you know that you got too big for your own good and the show is about to go downhill.

What 'luster' :dahell: and how is the show Hip Hop when they interview people like Dr. Oz, Umar Johnson and Kirk Franklin?

you missed the joke and glossed over the way i put "hip-hop" in quotations.

this thread got me thinking about the beef dvds, and how that chit started getting corny by the 4th dvd.

then the spinoff series came out with all the pandering, and that chit was a done deal quick.

Rihanna?:dahell: As for Beyonce I can't even remember the last time she even did an interview, I don't think Beyonce is allowed to talk. The rest I would be interested to listen to.

Breakfast Club have great chemistry and do good light-hearted type interviews. As much as I dislike him at times, Ebro is prolly the best interviewer in rap media and actually presses his guests without relying on gimmicks like Char

Envy and Yee bring nothing to the interviews
