It's a great skill to have. I can't even count the amount of money I've both saved and earned from it lol.

Damn I didn’t even see your post. You already gave them the game. I been tried to tell brehs years ago the power of Adobe acrobat pro. You don’t even need photoshop skills to finesse them documents. And I’m rich off grams, not scams. But sometimes you need to make a document

@shutterguy

I did exactly what you're describing.

Except I didnt need to rent another spot. I moved back to the family home.

(I'm one of those: 'my mom's lives with ME' face looking ass niqqas)

So I didn't need to rent a new spot. So dunno how that goes.

All I can say is: I got one letter that I think was forwarded via post office change of address and I haven't heard anything since. Six years ago now.

I have no advice. Just an anecdote.

Yea, my plan is to buy a condo (or rent one if I have to). Not sure what they call the ones that are only 2 homes with the garage being the separation wall between them.

That’s nice right there. Our old property company was charging and extra $100/month if you wanted to do month to month.

Anybody ever had issues breaking their lease for moving out of state? I got 6 months left on it, lease says you can't break it for job relocation. I need to have a convo with the property mgmt to see how concrete that is. Ready to leave Ohio for Georgia, apt to a condo. If you do break a lease how does that look to your new residence mgmt?

Wrong advice to give. But I’d always get some military orders done.

A duplex?

Great idea.

Buy it. Live in the one half as you remod the other as needed. Then rent the other half to someone for the amount of the mortgage essentially.

So now they paying your mortgage and you could even flip and rent out the half you been living in.

Then. You got the equivalent of two mortgages coming in as rent.

Get you another and keep flipping.

Nah, I'm old enough to know how things on your credit report can affect things. Worked to hard to keep good credit, don't wanna fukk it up.

Nah, they take care of everything soon as you put in a maintenance request.

Definitely not trying to ruin my credit, never had an eviction in my life, don't want one.

I will talk to the property mgr, if I can't break it, I will wait it out and pay up until the lease is up. At that point they should be able to provide a great referral to a new place.

you got the right idea....forget doing anything that will hurt your credit in the long run

hopefully the property manager does the right thing and comes up with a plan so everyone comes out clean

Had to dig through my drone pics, this is what I'm looking for. Each section has to 2 homes, 2 car garage wall separates them. No neighbors below or above, just on the other side of your garage. Your own patio outback. I'm just outside of Cleveland and these were around $175K a few years back.

Now, the duplex idea you mentioned does have me thinking tho.

EDIT: Ranch condo is what these are called, found one on Redfin.

I had to pay around 6k to break a lease recently. That shyt hurt my soul. I suggest nikkas make fake documents and get out of that shyt.
I’d rather come off that 6 than not be able to fully enjoy my new move and change of pace because I may be arrested for forging federal documents at any moment.
