@YouMadd? on point.

His presence handcuffs the offense. We don't have to force feed carries when he's not around and offense can operate more in the spread since Asiata and Mckinnon can block better than AD and catch better too.

:manny:

There's a reason why your team didn't mind him "handcuffing" the offense all those years breh.

Two bad weeks + an injury isn't enough to write him off lol. He started slow last year too and still had a great season. Obviously he is going to miss big time but he can still come back and be AP.

Offense throguh AP > Offense through Bradford/Bridgewater

If you think this team is gonna be better without Adrian Peterson. You are sadly mistaken. Even at 32, He's still a top 5 back. With that in mind, I'm excited to see Mckinnon get his chance to shine. He's had 2 years to study under AP COMPARED TO being a rook last time Peterson tore his ACL.

We didn't mind because we literally haven't had a QB who can take control of games since Farve

He didn't have a great season last year by AD standards. He had 1400+ yards off of the most carries in the league. I don't think our offense revolves around him enough anymore to justify 17mil next year. He isn't a 1600 to 2k back anymore at this point.

I hope other GM's believe in him like you do. Maybe we can squeeze a 3rd for him.

Wat kinda trash ass league you're in where you walked away with AD and LeVeon?

Well I had the 9th pick and right away everyone in the league started picking off WRs left and right.

1. Antonio Brown
2. Julio Jones
3. Odell Beckham Jr
4. David Johnson
5. Todd Gurley
6. DeAndre Hopkins
7. Lamar Miller
8. Ezekiel Elliot

I had intended to go WR-WR with my first two picks (we did a snake draft) but when I saw all those WR's go off...I mean shyt...the Top 4 dudes gone already...I was like, fukk it....I can get some solid WRs later in the draft. Let me grab some RBs. So I did RB-RB...then went WR-WR with my 3rd and 4th round picks.

It was a bit tough though, because when I came up to pick in the 1st, I thought about taking Adrian Peterson and Dez Bryant...and who knows, maybe I should have done that instead. But my thinking was....I knew I could still get a good WR at #29 and #32. But I wasn't sure I would be able to get a good RB at that point.

And I was kinda right.
When I took Jordy Nelson late in the 3rd round and Amari Cooper early in the 4th...the only real running backs left were CJ Anderson, Carlos Hyde, Thomas Rawls, and Latavius Murray....pretty weak. So I'm glad I grabbed Bell and Pederson early.

I was able to get Arian Foster in the 7th round (maybe a reach), and I picked up Spencer Ware and Charles Sims in the 13th and 14th rounds -- but I think maybe the guys in the league weren't aware that Spencer is starting for now. Some dude took Jamaal Charles in the 3rd round. Charles is hurt and might not hold on to his job all season. :yeshrug:

Besides, I really just need Spencer or Foster to hold it down for 3 weeks until Bell returns from suspension

And let me guess, Bridgewater wasn't that guy, but Bradford will be?
I don't know what you mean by "that guy". Bridgewater was progressing well and then he got hurt. There is nothing to discuss in regards to Teddy. He is hurt and I hope he recovers well and continues to progress.

The CURRENT situation is this:

Bridgewater going into the 3rd year of his 5 year rookie deal is out for the year and possibly longer, Adrian going into his 1st year of a two year deal has torn his knee and is out until the playoffs(if we make it).

Right Now. I'm rolling with what we have and I'm rooting for the team I have :manny:

I expect Adrian to continue to decline and I don't see these injuries stopping anytime soon. He is set to make 17mil next year, id rather we lock up our defensive studs :manny:
