She was the marsupial's teenage soundtrack come to life. I remember hearing her and her ex-husband at the time debut song on Innercity (Power 99 Sunday neo soul segment in Philly IYKYK) and it was like cloud 9 in the earbuds.

Fast-forward in high school, I copped my ex her album, a teddy bear, and a card.

She ended up getting me a hug but no gifts

To this day, I cherished such moments because neo soul is forever and it embodied my love for music, and I'm truly glad that Angie was a part of the journey.

Posted this one in the booth thread, it's my fav song of hers. I've been playing it like crazy too, and like you said, it stuck with me since I was a kid. The video with the clock, shyt still looks good for it's time.

Ain't gone lie this one hit kinda hard.
