Trump had Original Covid and the vaccines weren't available yet. He looked miserable but honestly the fact that he was able to pull off that PR stunt is a testament to his resiliency. If OG Covid got it's claws into you at the age, you were going to die or be laid up for a minute. Boris Johnson's situation was touch and go before he stabilized. I think Biden would have died in office if he caught the original recipe. People hated to see Trump take on Covid and come out relatively unscathed like that so they had to make up fantasies like he was going to die in the White House after leaving the balcony. The fact of the matter is that for him to even pull that off everyone knew he was going to be okay in the end or it wouldn't have happened. He definitely was in pain but by this point he beat the disease. I know you all hate to read it but a fat white man with health issues that made light of COVID beat the original variant pretty easily. He might have struggled with Delta though. I can't remember if that was a thing when he caught it.
