90 million non voters in the last election 🤦🏾‍♂️ People gonna learn the hard way sitting on the sidelines and choosing to be misinformed and not voting or taking this seriously has consequences. I want to think people are starting to learn whether it’s local, state, or federal level that government affects you in some way but who knows.

I hope you understand that if the Democrats fold now, even less people will vote next time.

Why bother if the opposition party folds and gives the enemy everything they want?

The lesser of two evils strat is getting less effective every election.

You gotta pick your poison then. Because people are going to be screaming at you either way (pretending we're the politicians here).

Either screaming at you because they can't afford food, or screaming at you in 5 months when they can't afford their medication.
To expound, its not just medication. A lot of the healthcare system is ran on shoestrings that have deleterious effects one may not initially see.

It's like snap not going out. Its not just people not eating, its:

-more theft
-stores missing out on a whole 10-30%+ of the money they usually get
-orders going down to wholesalers
-etc

The Obamacare subsidies going down means hospital closures, individual practitioners going under due to less clientele, specialists going under without referrals, some insurers are going under/getting gobbled by big guys, everyones policies are going to get more fukked up and possibly force employers to prefer high-deductible plans or terrible HMOs...to lose this fight won't just mean 40 million people getting tossed. Healthcare is going to get incredibly worse incredibly quick in a way that none of us can avoid.

It's easy for me to say because I make good money and am eating just fine (until food shortages), but they can't give this one up and the VERY specific dems who cave if they cave should never hear the end of it...though I fear the ones who care about this issue are smaller than those needing food right now.

Its a completely fukked up situation and as we all pretty much said, folks should have voted for Kamala.

I get it. I’m a federal worker currently not getting paid so I’m part of the suffering. My problem is whether they get the subsidies back even for a year extension will that be enough for people to get more involved. Ultimately it comes down to you are trying to negotiate with people who do not care how any of this looks. People in food pantries🤷🏾‍♂️. Tons of flight delays🤷🏾‍♂️. Million layoffs with more coming and a million people not getting paid all around when consumer spending is usually highest. One thing I thought of is what happens if they get an extension and things go through house and senate but Trump says I’m not signing shyt.

i personally know people that haven’t been paid in over a month. I am happy that they will get pay checks and some relief for a little while.

While I think repubs will reneg, it’s easy for me to say dems should’ve held out. I was still getting paid and not missing no meals.

Sucks but hopefully dems will still be able to get those subsidies for people on ACA

The Republicans getting it their way and dems leaving with basically nothing after 40 days......Have the momentum and be the ones to cave brehs.

They are looking to win big in 26/28 just because of how unpopular Trump is.....but never underestimate Democrats fumbling shyt.....good god they are useless :mjlol:

Dems are such pussies.

Giving up now won’t win them votes from the right, and it’s going to piss of their actual voters.

I hate them bytches.
Dems will do very well next year because obviously a major recession is coming, but it's still incorrect strategy obviously.
