The question is why did America vote for the democrats in 2020 but change their mind in 2024?

I’ll give you the fact that the Dems thought they had it in the bag. That was irresponsible of them for sure.

Too many reasons to choose from. A party has to go out of their way to have a one-term presidency. Blaming America instead of the administration is just being lazy.

I disagree with this. The playbook was out there before this election cycle. From the tariffs, to the immigration policies etc. And yet the people who would suffer from said policies decided to still vote for this thinking that it wouldn’t affect them. The people who voted for this are just as responsible as the administration.

States full of republican voters have always been there and that’s why we have the electoral college. That didn’t stop democrats from winning in 2020 so we can’t use that excuse.

The republicans don’t win because they have a strong agenda (as we can see with this administration). They win as a result of the democrats failure to form a strong cohesive and progressive party. At times, it appears to be political malpractice. Both trump terms were a result of democrat failures, not republican competence.

We don't really know for sure yet. Basically they are supposed to do a vote on the subsidies next month which was not on the table. The issue is there is no guarantee enough Republicans will vote for them to keep them.
