You are putting too much faith into the average voter "caring". Their level of care is proportioned to how much it affects them directly. That's the smart part about the BBB is that most of the real cuts that are diabolical happen after the midterms. Opening the government back up puts people back on auto pilot and status quo. So they'll go back to arguing about 50/50, reality shows, celebrity news. Then that's banking on these D's even forming a cohesive message around the issue and they have shown that they suck at that since Obama left office

Well, it's like I stated in my post, if the Dems can regain some power through the midterms and/or the upcoming presidential election then they can offer new affordable healthcare stipulations, credits, etc, sure that means things for some will unfortunately be high for the next few months but that's better than letting millions of Americans starve, indefinitely, expensive healthcare doesn't mean no healthcare.WEAKKKKKKK AF
Americans voted for this. Let Trump and his po azz low income "middle America" base stomach growl for a little then run campaign ads that remind them TRUMP REFUSED THEN BLOCKED SNAP PAYMENTS which is a factual thing.
Your gonna cave in for SNAP but what good is that when MAGA already passed legislation to gut the program AND now will pass legislation to increase Healthcare premiums double fold?
You can't eat healthcare, in no scenario does that triumph the need for food. If Trump wasn't playing games, using delayed SNAP benefits and starving people for political gain, I believe the Dems would've held on longer but seeing what's transpired within the past week with SNAP, clearly these Dems voting on this new deal must've felt enough was enough and decided that something had to give even if it comes at a price.

Trump and Republicans made it clear they're not budging on the ACA credits, and have no problems letting people starve for months if necessary, so the Democrats realized what needed to be done to put an end to Trump's suffering of Americans in need of critical food assistance.
Sometimes one has to make sacrifices to ensure others don't fall through the cracks. Yes, it'll cost you for the time being, some will be upset, but the bigger picture is that you're saving people from going hungry. Now, in regard to SNAP, many of those cuts can be cleaned up as well. Just like during his first term, in regard to SNAP, Trump made cuts to the program, but Biden came in and cleared it up. So these SNAP cuts, while in effect now, are not permanent, and a Democrat president can work around them and clean them up.
By the time their elections come up, if we even have fair elections again, it will be "forgotten".
Democrats think that having Fetterman is better than having a Republican. They are always crying about people to the left of them about purity tests.
If folks on your side let the other team run the ball, even help block you from tackling them, should they even be wearing your jersey?

And this is happening after a great win during the election cycle, unless of course Mamdani got them spooked.

Is Schumer, Jeffries,etc useless in the grand scheme and need to be voted out? Of course. Do co workers that I have that are at food pantries trying to feed there kids need to be made whole? Of course. I think both things can be true. To my friends that are pissed off today I told them this. Next year, actually start today, find who local/state wise is running next year and call up their office. Find out which way they think on this specifically AND how they plan to make you and your community better. Also spread the word why someone ain’t shyt or why they will be good going forward. People got to get involved and actually fukking vote. MF not voting is part of the reason why we here.

The problem with democrats is that you can’t tell people you fighting for something and to stick with it, and then when they actually buy in you immediately fold.
People don’t trust they will actually do anything because they will always cave.
