I don't know how you all are still keeping up with this bullshyt. You're all better people than me because I lost my patience for it a month or two ago.

The worst case, however, is not that Trump rejects the election outcome. The worst case is that he uses his power to prevent a decisive outcome against him. If Trump sheds all restraint, and if his Republican allies play the parts he assigns them, he could obstruct the emergence of a legally unambiguous victory for Biden in the Electoral College and then in Congress. He could prevent the formation of consensus about whether there is any outcome at all. He could seize on that uncertainty to hold on to power.
Trump’s state and national legal teams are already laying the groundwork for postelection maneuvers that would circumvent the results of the vote count in battleground states. Ambiguities in the Constitution and logic bombs in the Electoral Count Act make it possible to extend the dispute all the way to Inauguration Day, which would bring the nation to a precipice. The Twentieth Amendment is crystal clear that the president’s term in office “shall end” at noon on January 20, but two men could show up to be sworn in. One of them would arrive with all the tools and power of the presidency already in hand."

if he loses decisively his ego won’t allow him not to be a dikk and saying dangerous things but I’m hoping the idea of being in Florida golfing full time, starting a media group and scamming his supporters for the money he couldn’t get as a pretend businessman with daddy’s money sounds too appealing.
I think a lot may depend on stuff we don’t know about the NY investigation and if he’s really feeling the fear right now.

yeah, go and ask the people in Syria, Yemen or Libya who are currently living through civil wars how that is working out for them. Afterwards talk to someone from the Balkans how the civil wars from the 90's and early 2000 are still affecting their societies. Countries like Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador are still dealing with insane amounts of violence that is a remnant of civil wars that took place in the 80's. The point isn’t even about the transition of power. Trump has said that the Supreme Court will decide they election. That gives him a clear path to winning no matter what.
