November to January is going to be a shytshow. And if there is a civil war from this it will not be the same as the last civil war. It will be like Libya,Syria and Yemen. There will be multiple factions fighting and radical forces tend to become more popular in times of conflict. The country would be ungovernable and it would effect everyone. If you live in a major city your water and food comes from the rural areas. These right wing cacs will attack water pumps and pipes. This means water shortages in cities. They will attack food trucks meaning your local bodega will not be stocked up with food. This means massive food shortages and shortages in medicine as well. The racist cacs in your local police force will defect to the right wing militias in the suburbs and rural areas. The cities will be facing police shortages and that means massive power vacuums in the cities. We aren't even talking about the economic effects. Once civil war happens this means the US dollar will not be the world reserve currency of the world. This will make shyt much worse. This means the dollar will collapse. So you will have a pandemic, civil war/political crisis, economic crisis and on top of that you will have a currency crisis ie currency collapse. Then the entire country collapses into apocalyptic violence. As I said before people may think this fukkery is fun but you will quickly regret it all. Civil war would be absolutely be the worst thing that can happen to a nation. That Atlantic article is really telling. Republicans are willing to push the country into the brink of total civil war to maintain power.
