Before the beef y'all still hated Drake and never had him as top anything. So to say hippety hop "for the culture" old heads has this dude in the top 5 then removed him after the allegations is an outright lie. Drake is still the same guy he always was in the eyes of internet rap nerds; a cornball of a guy who makes pop/rap music they can vibe too privately and hate publicly. This myth that nikkas appreciated his work pre Meek beef is ridiculous. It was only after the fact that they could link some of his work to another writer (Q. Miller) that it became "good." The Meek beef only diminished him the eyes of people who already did not like him.

None of those were hits

So please go on

yes, please do until you find a hit :gucci:
Summer Sixteen and Portland peaked at #6 and #9 respectively on the Hot 100. Gyalchester went Top 40 and Hype went Top 50.

There's also Jumpman which peaked right outside the Top 10, Pop Style which went Top 20, and For Free which peaked right outside the Top 10.

The only song there you can argue as not being a hit is maybe Hype. The rest of those songs smashed

Do your research next time. :manny:

How frustrating does it have to be that Drake got bigger after the "exposal".

Claiming that Drake can't be a top 5 rapper anymore is the only thing they can cling to

Jumpman was before the beef AND that's a Future wave feat. drake wave surfing

Summer Sixteen peaked when the beef first started then fell off a cliff

I've only heard portland once in public

As I said before, For Free was a rip of Blow the Whistle and it was a Khaled track that drake featured on

Pop style also fell of a cliff

A hit is a track that maintains a position towards the top of the charts for an extended period of time

None of the tracks you posted(except maybe for free/blow the whistle pt 2) actually did that

So as I said before, please post a rap his that Drake HIMSELF made, after he was exposed. Thanks
