You have to provide them for your kids instead of letting social media raise them & actually be active. I can’t tell you how many times parents didn’t come to meetings about their kid or the amount of parents who don’t even respond to calls, emails or texts

Again I'm sure those parents are not college educated in white collar professions. It's a cycle that has to be disrupted.

When the state of NJ gave control of Newark Public Schools back to the city, Ras Baraka was front and center at City Hall for the press conference/celebration. If the mayor has nothing to do with the school district, he wouldn't have been at the podium making promises of impending success.

You don’t have to be that. None of my folks went to college & they had crappy jobs, but still pushed education so me & my siblings can be better than them. I’m the first from my family with a college degree & a decent job. You don’t have to have college educated parents breh.
