When Sumlin got to UH, he hired Holgersen who had been the OC for 3 seasons for Mike Leach at Texas Tech. So that's where Sumlin got the Air Raid offense from.

I don't hate Sumlin, I hate A&M. If Sumlin leaves A&M, I'll stop caring about him.

So I noticed several posters comment on Murray's arm. I was trying to find a baseball perspective on this and came across this article.

Murray’s next step is unknown. He would have to sit out a year in both baseball and football if he transferred to another Division I school. According to Gerry Hamilton of ESPN.com, Murray will be free to transfer to any school, except those in the Southeastern Conference and on Texas A&M’s football schedule in the next four years. He could also opt to go to junior college instead, which would make him eligible for the 2016 draft.

If Murray is on a baseball field somewhere this spring, scouts will be eager to see him. His tools suggested he could have been drafted in the first few rounds last year, but he was one of the hardest players for scouts to evaluate before he pulled out of the draft. A shoulder injury had sapped his arm strength, limiting him to designated hitter duties.

I forgot he hurt his shoulder. Does anyone know if he was affected by this injury this season?

And it's easier to look great as a coach when your offense once had 3 first rounders on the OL, a first round WR, a second round RB, and a 1st round QB.

I never heard that 2 year sit out rule before. nikka better change his mind for the next month then bounce. If he has to stay out 2 years he might as well quit football all together. Somebody should have guided him, the hell his father doing?

But I honestly think we'd rather have Kyle Allen given our offense. Plus Bob doesn't promise playing time

How is Kyle Allen a better fit than Kyler Murray? Both of them are great fits for the Air Raid offense. Murray being dual-threat Pocket Passer makes the offense even more dangerous.

why is his pops getting flack for not making kyler go where he wanted him to go? once again, his pops wasn't a fan of sumlin, and wanted kyler to go to texas.............kyler being a hard head went to aTm. he made his bed

as a texas fan, i wouldn't want this flip flopping kid on the squad anyway. wack brown recruited divas, strong ain't playing that privilege crap.
