A coach will take those jobs and the athletic department will take those checks. If enough coaches start thinking like this, the 16 team SEC experiment might not last long.![]()

It's way too hard to say a ring is success. Success to USC is being what OU is right now. Top 5 recruiting. Top 5 finishes. Always in the play in game. Culturally relevant. Rings are too hard to get, just being there gives you a chance and being top 5 gives you a realistic chance. USC hasn't been anywhere close since the playoff system. So for 150 Ms what need to be his results for a successful season?
Season 1-win pac12 yeah thats high but 15m a year you better win this shyt immediately.
Season 2- playoff appearance
Season 3-champ game
Season 4-ring
He making too much out the gate to be "rebuilding" and "change culture 1st" he gotta hit it running imo. You're making more than coaches whove actually been to the mountain top multiple times. Its win now and often for linc
It’s a businessWhat a coward.
Palm Beach and Martin too...Breh if Miami were able to keep athletes just in the two local counties, Dade and Broward, they would be a perennial top 5 program![]()
I've been one of his Kliff's biggest critics, but I've seen a lot of improvement this year. They've curb stomped two divisional opponents on the road without Kyler.Ironically, his coaching seems to be better without Kyler. The Cardinals play more fundamentally sound without him.His success rides on Kyler. Kliff really ain’t that good. Kyler carrying that whole shyt over there.

Why in the f*ck everybody keeps talking about "he's ducking the SEC" when OU and Texas don't join that conference until 2025. Riley would've been gone long before that anyway. If not USC or LSU then somewhere else![]()

Am I the only one that thinks OU was too good for the big12?Because it’s true
OU is a place that coaches rarely leave/get fired. If Lincoln had wanted he could’ve coached their for 15-20 years like Stoops did
And in the SEC you’ve got:
UGA
Bama
LSU
not to mention Auburn, Florida, Texas A&M and other programs on the come up waiting to knock you off. OU in the SEC at best might be the 4th best team…that’s a different lifestyle than being the best team in the Big 12 year in and year out
To some degree that’s assuming Bama, OU and LSU are going to be at that same level. Coaches are the most self believing people possible. USC on paper is a better job. He took the cash and a perceived better job.Because it’s true

It’s a factor but that’s also assuming that things stay static and which isn’t likely. Once Saban is gone the conference is back wide open.USC is a better job than OU no question but people ignoring the conference realignment like that’s not a factor arent being genuine. I’m not saying OU is going 7-5 or 8-4 every year in the SEC but they are going to have to adjust. They can have a top 10 recruiting class and still not have the best recruiting class in their own division in the SEC. I think it was definitely a factor IMO
Interested in seeing who OU hires next. OU, like Bama, has a footprint everywhere in regards to recruiting.Am I the only one that thinks OU was too good for the big12?
I hate conference expansion but OU playing tech Kansas and TCU every year was becoming a joke

Malachi decommitted.
