That stacked 2023 class OU had was practically all Cali talent, them boys gone![]()

Young and living in LA as the USC head coach
I give it 3 years before the inevitable sex scandal![]()

The prevailing belief has been that TX and OU would come to some financial agreement with the Big 12 to be able to move sooner than 2025 (most likely 2023).Why in the f*ck everybody keeps talking about "he's ducking the SEC" when OU and Texas don't join that conference until 2025. Riley would've been gone long before that anyway. If not USC or LSU then somewhere else![]()
If you're gonna get the highest salary you have to get the highest results.
Being culturally relevant aint worth 15 mil a year.
Championships or bust.
He hasn't proven he can get to the game yet but he's getting a "i won it multiple times" paycheck.
This aint the old days where a top 5 finish is "acceptable" nobody who's anybody cares about a top 5 finish when there's a system in place that gives the top 4 a chance to win it. Thats minor league shyt
USC is a better job than OU no question but people ignoring the conference realignment like that’s not a factor arent being genuine. I’m not saying OU is going 7-5 or 8-4 every year in the SEC but they are going to have to adjust. They can have a top 10 recruiting class and still not have the best recruiting class in their own division in the SEC. I think it was definitely a factor IMO

It’s a factor but that’s also assuming that things stay static and which isn’t likely. Once Saban is gone the conference is back wide open.

People have been saying that for 10 years tho…of course nothing lasts forever but when Bama was down Florida/LSU/Auburn was dominant. So yea it’s cyclical but that Bama machine isn’t slowing down anytime soon
