I told you guys this wasn't going away. Like it or not the LGBTQ rights folks are extremely organized and have hands in more pockets than people want to admit.

Problem is there are LGBTQ+ people in executive levels at Netflix who approved the special. Dave just didn't make it and threw it up on Netflix himself. The execs themselves watched it, they have focus groups who screen it, and have even had people at his standups when he was putting together the material.

No way will they cave. They'll put out some additonal PR bullshyt, but you not changing these folks minds (Who the vast majority didn't even watch the shyt).

Some of these folks want Dave's head on a platter no matter what. They say they don't want the special pulled, but want more programming.

There's a lot of alphabet gang programming on Netflix. These people just want attention.

I guarantee Netflix hires hype marketers for these shows
These shows will be trending way before anyone is talking about them
Netflix has a show or movie once a month that starts trending for no reason and gets people watchig the content
Parasite got famous because the were oscars hyping it up
The average American is not watching a South Korean show unless it’s hyped liked parasite or squid game
They get these shows and movies for cheap and then hype them up to make 400x what they paid for

Bad example. George Carlin hated comedians and jokes that punched down. He was outspoken about how unfunny it is to make fun of people who are already outcasts. His whole career was build on making fun of the elite.
