that's bullshyt. even with the suspension, the cardinals just fukking suck
IDK what to tell you. There was all types of D-Hop getting traded round draft time. They lowered their asking price up until the first pick. Other teams didn't bite. Oh well. It's obvious this will be Kyler's last season in AZ

He'd fit great with Philly. Their WR's aren't ego maniacs and Hurts will make sure everyone eats. They also have the clearest path to the Superbowl out of any team pursuing him.

KC will have to clear cap space to get him but if he wants to be a #1 and still win that's the best fit.

Bmore would be interesting.
AJ/Smitty/Goedert are all in their prime and command 100+ targets, can't see Hopkins making the kind of sacrifice that move requires unless he's really in ring chaser mode and comfortable running a ton of cardio.

Buffalo makes the most sense as far as opportunity to get targets + win. It's obvious KC expects Toney and Moore to eat up a ton of those non-Kelce targets, Bills don't have really have anything in the pipeline behind Diggs other than the Kincaid in the slot project (and rookie TEs tend to struggle).

If they tank Kyler getting replaced next year. They should've taken a 2nd day pick for him at least and avoided the cap hit. The Cards need to be the next team sold. The Bidwells are garbage.

:russ:
According to Schefter that wasn't an option as Hopkins didn't want to restructure his contract for teams to trade for him and they didn't want it in its current form. It should also be noted that current contract was structured and negotiated by Hopkins himself who admitted that it wasn't the best choice.

To be honest DeAndre Hopkins has lost a step and teams did not want to take on his 19 million dollar salary. He can still be a decent #2 but every team he wants to go to is going to have to move around some salary and he is going to most likely take a relatively cheap 1 or 2 year contract.

I think the Ravens should be the destination. They can give him decent money and he makes the Ravens better right away.

These other teams gotta know something. You telling me Cardinals turning down a 6th or 7th round pick on principle:mjlol:?

There's nothing to know. They didn't want to pick up his salary when AZ was going to have no choice but to release him. You don't trade for a guy you can get on the free market at a lower price.
