I live in Sunset Park BK and the 72 precinct is one of the most corrupt precinct in the city. Seen with my own eyes them cops on the beat robbing hustlers of their bread and letting them go two different occasions. shyt boggled my mind.
shyt is crazy and prostitution is heavy in Sunset Park. Like there is 10 motel/hotels and holiday inns in the area but no fukking tourist stays in Sunset at these run down hotels where drug deals and prostitutes stay at. The 66th precinct nearby in Borough Park is also a crooked precinct. The Hasidic Jews basically got them on payroll is all I’ll say. Best believe this is all connected to the bullshyt Lust was going through.
good post. spot on about the hotels. lmaooo. regarding Lust... those cops just wanted a taste. I think before it was Lust it was another name (Jaguars I think??) which was ran by an associate of the Bonnano family who is now locked up. guarantee when it was mobbed up the cops werent shaking it down. now the prob figured the Lust owner is prob some average Joe and would be easy to extort. frankly the dude should have just put one of the Pigs on payroll and got left alone. Hire the cop's brother as a security guard or just kick a couple G's a month. if you're running any vice orientated business in any 5 boros you're paying somebody... i thought that was common knowledge

That wasn't obvious to you before? If they don't run those brothels themselves, the brothels pay them off. Same thing happens with Russian and Asian brothels in Manhattan.
When the spots do get busted once in a while it is just to keep up a certain image. Last year before the Jamaica spot had the madam arrested and the place shut down,I think they basically went 5 years without being busted. They since reopened at another place on the low but the point is these places go ages without a bust.
